The Genuine and the Phony
Matthew 6:1-18
Man can only judge by what he sees (God looks on the heart, 1 Samuel 16:7). Sometimes we can play the part of true religion, while our hearts are far away from God. In this passage, Jesus warns against the behavior of hypocrites who look good but only want social recognition, and instead points to the way of real believers who truly seek God, and not man!
