The Beatitudes
Matthew 5:3-12 ; Luke 6:20-26
Jesus began the Sermon on the Mount with a series of character descriptions. He clearly showed that citizens of His kingdom would be directed by different motivations than their neighbors, and whatever loss or disappointment they experience in this world will be well compensated in the future! In this message Hal looks at those characteristics in the light of other Scripture, and addresses the question “What is the Kingdom of Heaven, anyway?” and what it means for us today.
