Jesus is Questioned About Fasting
Mark 2:18-22 ; Matt 9:14-17 ; Luke 5:33-39
When Jesus called Matthew the tax collector to His side, the new disciple gathered his friends to feast with him and his Master. The Pharisees and disciples of John, however, did not approve – either of the company, nor of feasting while they themselves were fasting. In this message, Hal looks at Jesus’ gracious response in the form of three parables, explaining why His disciples were not expected to fast like the others on that day!
